Eagle Rock - Spanish on a Rolling Hillside

Remodel / Interior Design / Landscape Design

This 1930s Spanish home was discovered in disrepair but revealed strong original bones, light-filled rooms, and generous grounds set into a gentle hillside. The renovation focused on honoring what was already there: original wood floors were refinished, existing millwork was preserved and stained to define the architecture, and the Bachelder fireplace was thoughtfully reimagined. Equal care was given to the landscape, the crown jewel of the property, carefully tended and designed as an extension of the home.

Custom millwork in the kitchen, primary bedroom, and laundry room brought the home’s functionality in line with its beauty, while the surrounding landscape and pool were designed as a natural extension of the interiors, allowing the grounds to become the home’s defining feature.
